Hole 18
And so to the closing hole – not the most difficult hole on the course but a nice finishing hole all the same. The newly constructed bunker at the front of the green will catch a badly struck or nervous shot. There is quite a high fall off at the back of the green as well and anything big generally kicks to the clubhouse. The resulting chip from this area is extremely difficult.
Most manage to find the green with their pitch on 18 though but the round is not over there. The 18th is one of the most difficult greens in Collinstown to read. There are numerous little breaks and only the most accomplished of putters make their putts on 18.
