PRO’s Weekly Report – 10th February 2013

WINTER LEAGUES.

Unfortunately  the weather was the spoilsport with regards to the above. The first leg of this competition was re-fixed for Sunday last the 10th at 11 am but unfortunately had to be cancelled because of waterlogging on our course.  It has now been re-fixed again for Saturday next the 16th at 1 pm.  Hopefully the weather will improve by then. Thanks to our Competition Secretary Martin Carter who has the unenviable task of keeping everyone up to date with regard to these on/off competitions.

WINTER ALLIANCES.

The next Winter Alliance is scheduled for Kilbeggan on Sunday next the 17th.   Playing times are the usual between 11 am and 1 pm.  Congratulations to the Collinstown Team of Mark Foran, Stuart Tarleton and Ml. Scally who won the nett prize in Lough Owel on Sunday last the 3rd.   There were 25 teams present and Collinstown was well represented at same.

MEMBERSHIP FEES.

The above are now due and can be paid to any member of the committee.  Family Membership is €150, Single Membership €100, Student €50 and Juvenile is €20.

WHIST.

Our next Whist will be held on Monday the 18th February at 8.45pm. We hope for a good turnout on the night and hopefully the weather will be okay for same.

CONDOLENCES.

We send our deepest sympathy to  Tommy  Murray &  family of Clondailever, Collinstown on the untimely passing of Kathleen last week.   May she rest in peace.
