PRO’s Weekly Report – 21st December 2009

 

WHIST DRIVE.

On Monday night last the 14th. inst we held our Christmas Whist.   We had a wonderful turnout of 14 tables which was great.   Thanks to all who brought prizes for our raffle which was in aid of the Motor Neurone research and realised in the region of E400 which was excellent.   Thanks to all who helped on the night also, Liz, Mary, Anne, Ena and of course Peter Gilsenan who is a great help with the running of same.   The following is a full list of the prizewinners:-

Once again thanks to all who made it such a successful night and to Liz who does a great job.  Great to see Joe Bray at same and who won the Hamper in the raffle.   Well done Joe.

ALLIANCES.

The first Alliance will take place in Kilbeggan on Sunday 10th January 2010 and the second one in Rochfortbridge on Sunday 24th January.

SYNPATHY.

We sympathise will all who have been bereaved during the past year and particularly the Lenihan Family from Delvin on the death of Ernie and also to one of our card players Anne Davis, Kildalkey on the death of her mother recently.   Ar Dheis De go raibh siad go leir.
