The above competition took place in Rochfortbridge on Thurs evening last the 20th.   There was a fair field of players.   The Nett winner in  the Ladies was Ann Clarke (Kilbeggan).   36 Nett Gents was Tom Arthur (Rochfortbridge) and the Overall winner was Johnny Feery  (Kilbeggan).   The Rochfortbridge course was in excellent condition. There are a lot of improvements taking place on the course and it is a credit to the members. Its my first time in the new Clubhouse since it was built and it is a lovely facility and again congratulations to all concerned with same.

Its  great to see Paddy Gorman back again swinging the clubs and looking so fit and well. Sympathy to Tom Archbold and his wife Mary on the death of Mary’s mother recently.   May she rest in peace..
