PRO’s Weekly Report – 8th January 2011

 

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING.

On Tuesday evening last the 4th January, we held our AGM which had been postponed from end of 2010 because of inclement weather. There was a reasonable attendance at same but of course we would have liked to see more at same. The following is our Committee for 2011.

PRESIDENT:   Ena Clinton

CHAIRPERSON:   Des Carter.

VICE-CHAIRPERSON:   Moira Nugent.

SECRETARY:   Mary   Carroll

TREASURER:   Alan   Hanlon.

COMPETITION SECRETARY:   Larry McGinn.

JUVENILE OFFICER:   Position not filled until a later date.

LADY CAPTAIN:   Liz Quinn.

GENTS CAPTAIN:   Larry McGinn.

OTHER COMMITTEE MEMBERS:   Martin Carter, Charlie Nolan, Tom Archbold, Peter Dolan and Anne Kelly.   Others can be co-opted at a later date.

GREEN FEES:   5 euro 

MEMBERSHIP FEES:  

Family - 150 euro

Single - 100 euro

Student - 50 euro

Juvenile – 20 euro

Meeting night will be 1st Monday of each month unless it a Bank Holiday.

We wish all the Committee all the best for 2011 as it will be a big year for us with the hosting of the National Matchplay Championships in June.

RESULTS OF OUR CHRISTMAS RAFFLE.

Our next Whist Drive will take place on Monday 17th January at 8.45 (sharp). The Raffle on the night will be for Charity.

ENGAGEMENTS.

We had two of our members getting engaged over the holiday period and we wish them the best of luck. They are Liz Quinn & Rene and Alan Hanlon and Denise. We wish both couples every good wish for the future.
